Vice President
Robert Walsh serves as the Vice President and co-owner of DLC Technology Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining excellence in strategic advisory services and project management across all our clients.
Rob is a seasoned technology expert with extensive hands-on experience in information technology. His technical focus areas encompass network design and management, system implementation and administration, and long-term technology planning. Leveraging his deep technical understanding, Rob develops comprehensive long-term strategic and technical plans and negotiates contracts with business partners and vendors. This approach results in innovative solutions for our customers, maximizing results and value.
With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and small/medium business sectors, Rob possesses intimate knowledge of the technology challenges facing businesses of all sizes. His extensive experience in the healthcare field has equipped him with a unique understanding of the needs of small physician practices and large, multi-hospital healthcare systems, with a particular emphasis on integrating business partners and disparate systems.
While working full-time for a healthcare system, Rob pursued his education at Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor’s in Computer Science in 1996. He also attended numerous seminars, trade shows, and training courses on Novell, Microsoft, and UNIX systems, further augmenting his knowledge and enabling him to provide solutions to various technology challenges.
Rob currently holds an Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification, multiple Cisco and Watchguard certifications, certificates in HIPAA and PCI compliance, and is an active member of the Philadelphia chapter of InfraGard.
